PKF Antares is looking for an Accountant to join our Toronto Office – Accounting team. Responsibilities
- Bank and Account reconciliations
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing financial statements, analyze financial information, summarize financial status
- Preparation of T1 and T2 tax returns for small and medium enterprises
- Preparation of GST returns and related fillings
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Communicate with clients and government agencies
Must Have
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Post-secondary education in accounting, business, or another relevant field
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with accounting and tax software (QuickBooks, CaseWare, Profile, Xero)
- Valid work permit for Belgium
Nice to have
- Accounting certification or designation
- Public accounting experience is a strong asset
- Bilingual communication skills (Turkish)
- Strong analytical skills
